Step 1: Research and planning
Our first step in creating a UI and UX design is to research and plan. This includes understanding the target audience, the goals of the project, and the competitive landscape. We develop a user persona, which is a fictional representation of the ideal user. This helps us to understand the user's needs and motivations.
Step 2: Wireframing
Once the research and planning is complete, the next step is to create wireframes. Wireframes are low-fidelity sketches of the website or mobile app. They are used to visualise the layout of the interface and to test the functionality of the design. Ordering the most important features or products on your platform and clearly setting the structure of the platform based on the research and user persona work.
Step 3: Prototyping
After the wireframes are approved, the next step is to create prototypes. Prototypes are high-fidelity mockups of the website or mobile app. They are used to test the usability of the design and to get feedback from users. We use Figma as our design tool to showcase how a client product looks across mobile, tablet and desktop.
Step 4: Design
Once the prototypes are tested and approved, the next step is to create the final designs for every step of the product. We run a client design call to go through each design, and gather feedback via a live and interactive session to ensure each page and feature is displayed correctly putting the user at the heart of the UI & UX.
Step 5: Development
The final step is to develop the website or mobile app. This includes coding the application, testing the application, and deploying the application. We ensure that the UI & UX designs are coded correctly and we rigorously test any platform we build.
Yellow Panther's mantra is WILD CREATIVITY and BOUNDLESS TECHNOLOGY, great UI & UX always has to be underpinned by a tech stack that is functional and cost-effective for the client, we ensure your design is never compromised by the tech stack and vice versa.
